UDHAMPUR, July 24: In mysterious circumstances, the body of a woman was found hanging with a tree in Kultyar area.
“A housewife identified as Nishu Devi (20) wife of Pawan Kumar, resident of Kultyar, tehsil and district Udhampur, was found hanged mysteriously on a tree, about 300 feet away from her in-laws’s house”, a police spokesman said.
He said that the body of the deceased woman was shifted to PHC Panchari, where after completing all medico-legal formalities it was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites. “A case in this regard under section 174 CRPC was registered at police station Panchari and inquiry initiated”, he added.
