UDHAMPUR, June 19: A young woman was allegedly gang raped at Dudu Seri Nallah, under the jurisdiction of Basantgarh Police Station.
In her police complaint, the 35-year old victim alleged that she was kept hostage inside a water mill at Sri Nallah and gang raped by four persons on the intervening night of June 17-18.
Acting swiftly on complaint of the victim, a Police team led by SDPO Ramnagar, Bhisham Dubey raided different locations and arrested all the accused persons within hours.
They have been identified as Mohd Salim, son of Qasim Din, his brother Mohd Mukhtar, Mohd Rafi son of Sher Mohd and Mohinder Kumar son of Yog Raj. A case FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered against them for further action.
