JAMMU, Sept 21: A woman drug peddler was arrested with 142 gram of ganja-like-substance and Rs 2.89 lakh cash in Bishnah area here today.
A police official said Neelam Devi wife of Tarseem Lal of Dhindey Khurd, Bishnah was arrested with the consignment and cash by a team of Police Station Bishnah led by SHO concerned Inspector Mustaj Choudhary under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu.
Accordingly, he said, the accused has been booked in case FIR number 149/2024 under sections 8/20/27 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bishnah and further investigation taken up.
