RAMBAN, Apr 21: A woman was killed and her two children sustained injuries when an auto, they were travelling in, plunged into Kunfer Nullah near Chanderkote on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway this morning.

Police spokesman said that an auto bearing registration Number JK19-2566 was on its way to Ramban from Sarthi went it went out of the control of its driver as a result of which it plunged into Kunfer Nullah leading to death of a woman and injuries to her two children.
On the receipt of information about the accident, jawans of 84 Battalion of CRPF stationed at Chanderkote rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body and injured persons to District Hospital Ramban.
The deceased has been identified as Veena Devi, wife of late Yashpal Singh of village Sarthi and the injured are Shilpa Devi and Sheshpal Singh. The condition of both the injured was stated to be out of danger.
