SRINAGAR, Nov 26: A 75-year-old woman died, and three other family members were critically injured after a gas cylinder blast occurred due to the blaze in Lal Bazar area of Srinagar.

An official said that the fire broke out in a residential house in the area where the cylinder blast took place.
“In the incident, a woman identified as Khatija Begum died, while three other family members sustained injuries.”
The injured were rushed to the hospital for treatment where their condition is said to be stable.
“The fire has been brought under control. Information about the fire incident was received around 2 pm. The nearest fire stations were called, and additional fire tenders were brought in to control the flames.”
In the meantime, a shopping complex and a portion of the Masjid were damaged today in a fire incident at Bohri Kadal area.
Officials said that the fire originated from the portion housing a Darul Uloom kitchen and then quickly spread to other parts.
“The fire was reported around evening, and after an hour or so of firefighting, it was brought under control. The assessment of the losses is underway, and the cause of the fire is also being,” the officials stated.
During the firefighting, three of their men sustaned injuries.
