RAJOURI, Mar 22: A woman was killed in a road accident in Lamberi area of Rajouri today.
Official sources said that a woman was killed in a hit and run case on Jammu-Rajouri highway today. A woman identified as Priyanka Devi (34), was going to her home at Lamberi. He boarded off the bus and started crossing the road, but a car which was going from Rajouri towards Jammu hit her badly and she was thrown several meters away and was seriously injured.
The victim, Priyanka, wife of Sanjay Kumar resident of Lamberi, was immediately taken to nearby hospital where doctor declared her as brought dead. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
