RAMBAN, Sept 5: A woman was crushed to death by a tipper in Dhramkund area of Ramban-Gool road here today.
Police sources said that an unknown tipper crushed the lady near Chapran Nullah area falling under Dhramkund Police Station jurisdiction.
After committing the accident, the erring driver along with his vehicle, fled the spot.
The deceased was identified as Raja Begum, wife of Mushtaq Ahmed, resident of Chapran area of Dhramkund.
By evening the cops after hectic efforts traced the erring vehicle involved in the accident with the help of CCTVs and the driver involved in the accident was also arrested but Police avoided sharing more information.
