JAMMU, Sept 12: A 25 years old married woman today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at her home at Raka in Vijaypur, a police spokesman said.
He said the woman has been identified as Sukhwinder Kour wife of Gurmeet Singh. She was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where her condition is stated to be stable, he added.
However, it was not known why she took this extreme step. The concerned Police have taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
