JAMMU, Feb 10: A woman today made an abortive attempt on life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence at Jinder Melu in RS Pura sector.
According to a police spokesperson, a woman identified as Nisha Devi (35) wife of Sham Lal tried to end her life by allegedly consuming some poisonous substance at her residence, this evening. In unconscious condition, the family members rushed her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where her condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in.
However, it was not known why she took this extreme step.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
