JAMMU, Nov 8: Bishnah Police nabbed a woman and recovered heroin from her possession.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Bishnah laid a naka at Dhinday Khurd and intercepted a lady, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 3 grams of heroin from the possession of the lady and arrested her.
The arrested lady was identified as Neelam Devi, wife of late Tarsem Lal of Village Dhinday Khurd, Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 190/2022 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
Police team led SHO Bishnah Inspector Vikram Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Jammu Ramnish Gupta.
