JAMMU, Feb 17: A woman was arrested today from Bishnah area along with illicit liquor.
According to a police spokesperson, a woman namely Lovely Devi (30) wife of Rakesh Kumar, resident of Sikanderpur Kothey (Bishnah) was caught red handed with 20 litres of illicit liquor.
He said a case FIR number 27/2020 under Section 48 (A) Excise Act has been registered in this connection at police station RS Pura and further investigation started.
The arrest and seizure was made by a police team headed by SHO Bishnah, Inspector Deepak Pathania under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura, Shabir Khan.
