KATRA, June 25: An elderly woman pilgrim from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, died here today because of apparent cardiac arrest near Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
The deceased was identified as Seema Sharma, wife of Anil Kumar Sharma, who had come to Mata Vaishno Devi for paying obeisance along with her husband and son. She suddenly fell unconscious and was rushed to the Dispensary at Bhawan where doctors declared her as brought dead.
Later the body was shifted to Katra and then handed over the family members after legal formalities.
