SAMBA, Dec 22: A woman was run over by a train near Barian Railway Line, here.
As per police sources, a woman identified as Pooja Devi (26) wife of Parveen Kumar, a resident of Katli was seriously injured after being run over by train near Barian Railway Line.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the woman to hospital, where doctors declared her as brought dead.
After conducting autopsy, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Concerned police has taken cognizance in this regard.
