REASI, Jan 25: A man allegedly shot dead his wife following an argument over marital issue, here today.
The incident took place earlier today at Sarangdhar Panchayat in Lamsora, Tehsil Bhomag, District Reasi, where Kamal Chand, son of Suram Chand allegedly shot and killed his wife, Vaishno Devi, aged 25. The accused allegedly used a country-made gun to kill his wife.
Upon receiving the information, Reasi Police immediately rushed to the scene of the crime and apprehended the accused.
The police have initiated an investigation to determine the motive behind the heinous act and are in the process of collecting evidence from the scene. The body of the deceased was sent for post-mortem and other legal formalities.
