SRINAGAR, May 25: A woman slipped to death while grazing her cattle in Kokernag forests, police said.
A police spokesman said a 55-year-old woman, Zaitoon wife of Abdul Rashid Dar of Chree Panjagam slipped to death while grazing her cattle in forests in Kokernag, Anantnag.
“The body of deceased lady was retrieved from the forest and handed over to her relatives for last rites. Police has initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC in this regard,” he said.
