MENDHAR, July 20: A woman and her son-in-law were injured in fire accident at village Harni in Mendhar area of district Poonch today.
Reports said the incident took place when 45-year-old Kamini Sahni, wife of Suresh Sahni, resident of Harni village was busy in cooking food. Her daughter and son- in- law had also come from Ari village to their home. Suddenly, due to leakage of LPG gas, the fire broke out in the kitchen and she was trapped in flames. She cried for help and her son-in-law Amit Gupta, who was sitting in the adjoining room rushed for the help. Both received burn injuries and were rushed to Mendhar Hospital. Later, Kamini was referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
