MENDHAR, June 12: A woman was stabbed today with a sharp edged weapon by some unknown person in Dharana area.
According to a police spokesman, the woman identified as Kiran Bala wife of Surinder Kumar Sharma was attacked tonight with a sharp edged weapon (knife) by some unknown person at her residence in Dharana area.
He said in the attack, the woman sustained injuries in her abdomen. She was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Mendhar, from where she was later referred to District Hospital, Rajouri.
In this connection, a case was registered at police station Mendhar and investigations started.
