POONCH, Dec 22: A woman was stabbed by her close relative during a clash in Sher-e-Kashmir Colony (Ward No.1) of the town here today. A police spokesman said that Shamim Akhtar, wife of Khadam Hussain, resident of S K Colony Poonch was allegedly attacked with sharp edged weapon by her relative, Abdul Majid, son of Ahmed Joo, during clash at home today. The woman with multiple grievous injuries was rushed to district hospital, Poonch. The police arrested the accused and registered a case FIR No. 178/ 2014 under Sections 307/ 323/341 RPC against him. Further investigation was in progress.
