JAMMU, Sept 8: A woman injured in an assault case today succumbed to her injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Sushma Devi (29) wife of Satpal, resident of Bhaderwah, was shifted here at GMCH on September 6 with serious injuries, which she had sustained in an assault case at her residence.
However, the woman succumbed to her injuries today at about 6.10 pm. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
