JAMMU, Mar 21: A woman today succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Melo Devi (40) wife of Pali Ram, a resident of Sohal (Akhnoor) was shifted here at GMCH on March January 16 after she suffered severe burn injuries at her residence due to stove blast.
After battling with life for last over four days, the woman succumbed to her injuries this morning. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
