JAMMU, Feb 1: A woman succumbed to her burn injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here today.
As per reports, Sushma Devi, wife of Mohan Singh of district Doda was admitted in the GMC Hospital yesterday with burn injuries.
She failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to her burn injuries.
The body was handed over to family members after completion of legal formalities, while a case stands registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, Sita Ram, son of Rameshwar and his wife Lakshmi Devi, resident of Uttar Pradesh, at present Karnail Chack, Satwari received severe burn injuries at their home.
The duo were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
A case has been registered and investigation started.
