Mendhar, July 26: The dead body of woman was exhumed in Mankote tehsil of Mendhàr sub division in Poonch district on Wednesday morning.

The woman had died under mysterious circumstances with initial reports suggesting that she consumed some poison on July 20 at border village Tain Mankot area. She was later taken to Sub District hospital Mendhar where she died.
District Magistrate Poonch on the demand of father of the 25 Yrs old woman later ordered exhumation.
On Wednesday, the body was exhumed in presence of magistrate and body has been shifted to government sub district hospital Mendhar for postmortem, official said.
Besides SDM Mendhar MJ Khan, Tehsildar Haveli Poonch Anjum Bashir Khatak, Tehsildar Mankote Mahroof Qadri, SDPO Sheezen Bhat, SHO Sajad Bania, locals Sarpanch and family members of the woman were also present on the occastion .
