UDHAMPUR, May 26: The dead body of a woman was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook in her house at village Malhar, in Rehmbal area in Udhampur today.
The police said, Nisha Sharma (34), wife of Ram Lal, resident of Rade Kote, Malhar was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook at her residence under mysterious circumstances.
Family members seen her hanging and immediately called Police. The police party from Rehmbal rushed to the spot and took the body in its custody and then shifted to District Hospital, Udhampur.
Later, the body was sent for postmortem and after completion of legal formalities was handed over to the family.
Meanwhile, father of the deceased alleged that she has not committed suicide. She has been murdered because even after 14 years of marriage, there was no child. He demanded to register a murder case.
The police registered case under 174 CrPC and started investigation.
