SRINAGAR, May 9: Police recovered the body of a female from river Jhelum at Awantipora in Pulwama district.
A police spokesman said that the body of Muglee aged 65 years wife of Ghulam Ahmad Wani resident of Ghat Mohalla-Awantipora was recovered from river Jhelum at Alochibagh-Sambooora, Awantipora. The lady was mentally challenged and was missing since May 1 from her home. Police has initiated proceedings under section 174/CrPC in this regard.
