KATHUA, Aug 31: Government Degree College for Women Kathua has been accredited at Grade ‘B+’ by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for a period of five years from August, 30 with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.62 on a seven point scale, the result of which was declared by NAAC Bengaluru.
Dr.Sangita Nagari, Principal of College congratulated all the teaching, Non-Teaching staff members, students, NSS volunteers, NCC cadets and all other stakeholders for their significant contribution in the process of NAAC accreditation of the college.
She also appreciated the role of Ravinder Kour IQAC Coordinator, IQAC/NAAC Steering Committee members, Ashwani Khajuria convener, Advisory Committee, Dr Arun Dev Singh, NSS Programme Officer, Dr Vaishno Devi NCC CTO and Roshan Lal Sharma Physical Director of the college.
A staff meeting was also conducted by Dr Sangita Nagari, Principal in which the NAAC Peer team report was opened and discussed with all the staff members along with recommendations for quality augmentation of the college. She motivated the staff and IQAC coordinator to take up necessary steps for implementation of recommendation of the NAAC Peer team in letter and spirit for next cycle and work with dedication and zeal for the overall development of college.
