JAMMU, Feb 21: President JKUT BJP Mahila Morcha, Sanjita Dogra chaired an organizational meeting along with State vice president and Prabhari Mahila morcha Anuradha Charak, State secretary and Seh Prabhari, Veenu Khanna, general secretaries, Updesh Andotra , Neha Mahajan and Urvashi Gupta of State office bearers.
The meeting discussed various organizational issues to strengthen the organizational base of BJP Mahila Morcha.
While addressing the meeting, Sanjita Dogra, focussed on the role of ladies in society. She said women have an important role to play in building the future of the nation. She further added that the Women’s Wing of BJP is working with unmatched enthusiasm across the nation to achieve the target during elections and which was proved by winning DDC elections with great margin in JKUT.
Sanjita Dogra stressed the women Karyakartas to make strong and persistent booth level working and encouraged them to ensure that the committees of prominent ladies are formed at every single booth. She added that the Mahila Morcha activists have to work hard for strengthening the organizational structure and for this she directed all the Prabharies and Seh Prabhari to be active in their districts.
Sanjita Dogra asked the women activists to reach the people at booth level and educate them about the developmental projects and welfare schemes and help them in availing the benefits of such schemes which have been launched for the social and economic upliftment of the poor and weaker sections.
She also spoke on the importance of the regular meetings and interactions with the grass root activists.
Anuradha Charak, while addressing the meeting, said that BJP has become a party which has its supporters and members in every area of all the three regions of the State. She added that more and more people are getting associated with BJP as they are convinced by the policies and programmes of Narendra Modi-led Government at the Centre.
Veenu Khanna assured the women activists that each one of them is important part of the party and will get due respect and honour.
All the Prabharies also reported the work done by them in their respective areas.
State general secretary, Updesh Andotra conducted the proceedings of the meeting and vote of thanks presented by Neha Mahajan.
