Sir,
16 December 2012, the date in Indian history that is inevitable and cannot be cammoflaged under any victory, a girl in Delhi was raped and exploited to a life terminating end. The question is not that whether the accused were punished under severe laws! or whether the accused were hanged to death, given life imprisonment or released as a juvenile! But but the question is will this end?
Did the molestation and brutalities end after 2012?
Did the reckless behaviour of more than half part of the society”MEN” after this incident change towards women? The answer is loud and clear “NO”
Feminism is not just a topic to be bluffed about! but also a thing to fight for! A moral value which should be omnipresent in every person and that is what will bring the ” much awaited change”
Being an Indian, Being a resident of a State called J and K and a city called Jammu and above all being a human, we need to educate men that women are not just girls will probably get married to! But the mothers’ that brought them up. Molesting a woman won’t make a guy a man.
It won’t make a guy look like a hero, rather it would make him look desperate. Eve teasing is common everywhere, commencing from our streets to highways and to workplaces.
But now this is the time! women should STOP bowing their heads down and walking straight in the line of their nose, but raise their heads high to show the audience that it is THEIR time now! their struggle for respect has ended and now dawn of success and glory awaites at their window panes.
“Shiva” himself was incomplete without “Parvati” the adhishakti, which means half power! So how can today’s man be complete without his graceful and successful lady!
Yours etc…
