SAMBA, Sept 1: BJP Bari Brahmana Mandal organised Mahila Sammelan here at Seelam Khadergal in presence of former Minister and BJP candidate for Vijaypur Assembly constituency, Chander Parkash Ganga and MLA Kaman Assembly Rajasthan, Nauksham Choudhary.
Speaking on the occasion, Ganga said, “Women being the biggest beneficiaries of the Modi Government’s flagship schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Scheme, have experienced freedom from financial dependency and day to day life. The love and support they have shown in return has been unprecedented. If voted to power the UT Government will work on the footsteps of PM Modi to ensure women contribution in each and every field.
“We will see 33% women reservation after next delimitation and this reservation in Legislative as well as Parliamentary constituencies is a result of PM Modi’s vision” he added.
Nauksham Choudhary in his address said that the budget itself speaks and will boost women workforce participation by organizing women-specific skinning programmes and promoting market access for women’s SHG enterprises. She highlighted that the Modi-led Government has also increased budget allocation for schemes under mission Shakti from 2325 cr to 3146 cr. Mission Shakti stands for mission for protection and empowerment of women included schemes like Beti Padhao Beti Bachao.
