REASI, July 31: Shocking state of affairs in the District Hospital Reasi came to fore today when 13 women, immediately after their Laproscopic Tubectomy, were put on floor, here today.
Some of these women, lying on ground, were semi unconscious while a few others were crying of pain. Attendants as well as others in the   hospital were visibly shocked over the treatment meted out to the patients at District Hospital.
When contacted, Superintendent of the District Hospital explained that after undergoing Laproscopic Tubectomy, rest for two-three hours is required and due to inadequate number of beds in the hospital, these women were put on floor.
There are only 50 beds in the hospital, which is being run in an OPD block whereas number of patients admitted here is around 70, he added.
