In the infinite kaleidoscope of life, scenes keep shifting as Time moves eternally with the present moment fading into the past and the future blending with the present. As events and things happen in this world, they influence the human consciousness which in turn creates reactions and responses that further influence and shape future events. This interplay of human spirit and physical matter continues unceasingly.
The human mind bound by the limits of space and time perceives this eternal flow in a very fragmented way and interprets reality in an isolated and separate frame. Though the human spirit is originally a free and powerful entity, it does get trapped by the conditions of the physical world. The original powers, virtues and the capacity of the human soul to create and express its highest potential is unlimited, however, as the soul journeys through the cycle of birth and death. It loses the awareness of its powers and begins to think and act in a limited capacity conditioned by physical realities.
As one observes the tapestry of human lives, one finds a lot of complexities and paradoxes that confound our logical mind. Yet there is a common thread that runs through all the intricate patterns woven by the myriad life stories. It knots and binds all the paradoxes and complex patterns of life together.
There is a perfect order in the chaos we see around us; and intelligent design behind everything and every being. The world is like and eternal drama. It passes through cycles of birth and death, growth and decay, to be followed by rebirth or recreation. The cycles of days and night, seasons, year, seed and tree define the rhythm of our lives. Beneath the continual change these cycles contain the seeds of completeness the eternity. There is a perfect rhythm and order in everything that happens in the physical world.
Understanding the World Drama will help us to perceive life in a deeper and holistic way. Firstly, we realize that we are not the physical body but souls – sentient point of light and energy. Purity, peace, joy and love are our original state of being.
The world drama is the story of how human souls enter the world stage in a perfect form; they are pure and virtuous and lead a joyful life. The world is in Golden Age (Satyuga). As the purity of souls gradually decreases because of their constant interplay with material world, the drama moves to silver, copper and iron ages. At the end of Iron Age, God directs the drama towards a new beginning.
God is the Creator in the sense of being a re-creator who divinizes the old impure iron-aged world into a new, pure golden-aged world again. He renews the world by removing impurities such as lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego in the souls and by making their nature divine. Everything evolves, gets recreated and divinized by God – the eternal point of Light and Might in this auspicious sangamyuga (Confluence Age). Amazingly, the world Drama is passing through this episode now.
Viewed from this seat of awareness, we realize that the wheel of time and change is moving perfectly and we as souls can stay in our original state of peace and purity by being soul conscious, detached observers and by being connected to God. But when we lose this spiritual awareness, we are sucked into the waves of changes that attract our attention, drain our energy and create a different sense of reality that triggers a chain of wasteful and negative reactions.
As our third eye of wisdom opens, we play our role in this Drama without getting adversely affected by the chaos around us. When we live our life from this point of non-judgmental awareness, we can discern truth clearly and choose to act in a benevolent way. Then we are flowing with life without grasping, chasing, blaming or needing to control anything outside.
The biggest insight that God’s wisdom bestows on us is that everything that happens in this world is beneficial and in perfect sync with the eternal plan. Wah Drama Wah! We enjoy every scene and every human actor’s role in this Drama. We see the wonder of God, of ourselves and Drama.
Every human being is an actor playing a unique role in this World Drama and everyone is blameless. As we align ourselves with our true identity, with God and with the present auspicious time of Sangamyuga, we are freed from fear, hatred, despair and bitterness about life. We begin to regain our original purity, joy and harmony in all relationships.
