JAMMU, Sept 19: Apni Party’s Provincial vice president, and former MLA, Faqir Nath today continued his election campaign in favour of the Party’s candidate for Jammu South, Pavneet Kour and sought vote and support from the people.
Addressing election meeting in Jammu South Faqir Nath criticised the authorities for permitting the operations of mining mafia and exploitation of the natural resources in an unaccounted manner that has snatched the bread and butter from the hands of the local youth.
Reacting sharply to the increasing complaints against the mining mafia, he stated that the Party will not allow the mining mafia to operate in Jammu and Kashmir after October 8, 2024, following the declaration of the Legislative Assembly results.
“We will throw the mining mafia out of Lakhanpur on October 8,” he stated and attracted attention of the people, who extended their support, expressing their anguish over the involvement of insiders in facilitating the mining and extraction of the minerals by the non-locals.
He reaffirmed his commitment to fighting corruption and promised to cleanse Lakhanpur of the mining mafia, which he said has been exploiting the region for far too long.
Faqir Nath appealed the people of Jammu South to unite in their fight against corruption by supporting Pavneet Kour, the Apni Party’s candidate.
Addressing the gathering, Pavneet Kour reiterated her dedication to the people, promising 500 units of free electricity for every household and a commitment to improving the lives of the common people. She called upon the voters to trust her leadership and work together for a corruption-free, prosperous Jammu South.
