Work for welfare

Sir,
It has rightly been said that change is the spice of life. The stagnant water always gives a foul smell. It is ingrained in man’s nature to opt always for a change because monotony in any form is not liked by anybody. The recent elections in five States have given credence to the fact that change is always welcome. Had it not been so, the Aam Aadmi Party which is hardly one year old would not have got 28  seats in Delhi. But the electorate having tired of wrong policies of the Congress e.g. spiralling prices of daily use, favouritism, nepotism, corruption, increase in scams, inner conflict in the party, bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, delay in passing Lok Pal bill, failure of liaison between Ministers and parliamentarians, stalling of parliamentary proceedings off and on and such other lacunae constrained the electorate for a drastic change because the voters have now become conscious and matured. They want solution to rising unemployment and are not ready to hear false promises. The voters want something practical in matters pertaining to general welfare and some things to be done on a solid basis and not empty slogans and false promises. The electorate in Delhi have altogether rejected the Congress manifesto so much so that Sheela Dixit have to face the defeat even after remaining in power for fifteen years. So it can be safely  said that any party which wants to have power has to see to the welfare of the masses and fulfill the promises made to them during elections.
Yours etc…….
