Work hard to strengthen LJSP in State: Khaliq

JAMMU, May 9: Secretary  general of  Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJSP), Abdul Khaliq has said that State unit leaders of the party are need to work for  strengthening  the organization by building trust  and confidence among themselves and team works of various wings of the party with the State team headed by State president  here.
Talking to media-persons here after conducting  visit to various parts of Jammu region, national  secretary general  of the party Mr Khaliq said that he was here in Jammu to take stock of the party activities and also paid visit to other districts including Udhampur and Samba. Several district presidents and other office bearers  attended the meetings.  Current political situation and party matters were  reviewed in the meetings.
Mr Khaliq, who was accompanied by National president Youth wing of LJSP, Sanjay Saraf further said that there was need to strengthen the party and  extend its activities. He said that during the review, he asked the party rank and file to gear up their  activities  and strengthen the party in the J&K State.” There is strong need to develop trust and confidence among the cadre as well as the general public and also educate the people about the policies and programmes of the LJSP,” he added.
” We may have difference of opinion  and when we understand the common issues  and goals beyond personal interests, certainly we are following  the party ideology and principles and the party leaders should live up to the expectations of the people of the State,” Mr Khaliq maintained.
Mr Saraf expressed his confidence that party activities will further pick up in the State and  Ravi Tickoo will boost the Party’s State unit  and will work hard to strengthen party base along with other leaders.
Mr Saraf admired Mehbooba Mufti for respecting the  public mandate given to her party  and forming  the coalition Govt with BJP after three months’ Governor rule.  He said it is for the first time   that the Govt is State focused, neither Kashmir centric or Jammu centric as In Jammu BJP dominates and in Kashmir there is PDP. Therefore, balanced development is expected in both the regions, Saraf  added.
