SRINAGAR : Work resumed in the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) office after remaining crippled for two days due to nationwide strike called by several unions demanding revival of the loss-making telecommunication company.
Strike had badly affected telephone service as field staff could not attend the complaints because of strike. Customers of broadband also alleged that the speed of the internet system was very slow.
The customers also could not deposit their landline, mobile and broadband bills as the gate of main BSNL office at Exchange road remained closed.
Today long queues could be seen outside the counters in the main BSNL office to deposit their landlines bill as tomorrow is the last day.
