DC Budgam inspects progress of work on this 7.21 km long road
Budgam, August 01: The Deputy Commissioner Budgam (DC) today inspected the progress of works on upgradation/ improvement and mcadamisation of the Chadoora-Kuzwera road today.
This important road, stretching 7.21 kilometers, connects District Budgam with District Pulwama, playing a crucial role in facilitating smoother and safer travel.
The project shall benefits several habitations including Chadoora, Daulatpora, Bugam, Kuzwera, and MagrayPora. This initiative is part of the administration’s broader efforts to improve the quality of road infrastructure and enhance connectivity across the region.
The Chadoora-Kuzwera road is an inter-district route that shall significantly contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.
It passes through the ‘Vegetable Bowl’ of Kashmir at Bugam, a vital area for local agriculture.
Among others , CPO Budgam Irfan Giri, Executive engineer PMGSY Nasir Ahmad , Tehsildar BK Pora Mudassirah and other sectoral officers were also present on the occasion.
