RAMBAN, Dec 9: A worker of AFCON was crushed to death by a Tipper inside under-construction tunnel for the Railway line at Sangaldan, here today.
The deceased, identified as Rangeel Singh, son of Gopi Singh of Neera Ramban, came under rear tyre of the tipper bearing registration number JK19-0364. The mishap took place in tunnel T-42 and the worker reportedly died on the spot.
Later his body was shifted to District Hospital Ramban for conducting post mortem. Police has registered a case in this connection.
