Billawar, July 25: A largely attended protest rally of employees and workers of PHE Department, presided over by Ishwer Das Sangra, president, Low Paid Employees Federation, was held today.
The president, in his address urged the Government to pay wages to the workers forthwith as he said that these workers and their families are unduly being made to suffer near starvation especially when the prices of almost all essential goods of daily consumption are soaring sky high day to day for which anti people and anti working class policies of Central and State Government were entirely responsible.
Besides Kabla Singh and Isher Das Sangra, Sagar Singh, president PHE Employees and Workers Association, Billawar, Tara Chand, Saleem Ahmed and Yash Pal were the speakers reiterated their resolve to continue their struggle in persistent and protracted manner.
