Works programme of JK Housing Board reviewed

SRINAGAR, Mar 26: As many as 316 development works have been taken up for execution under different schemes in Srinagar district during current financial year at an estimated cost of Rs. 1110 lakh, of which 258 works were completed while as work is in progress on 58 such development works at different stages of completion.
This information was given out at an officers meeting of J&K Housing Board held here today under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone.
The meeting also reviewed the pace of progress of other projects taken up under education and health sectors.
The District Development Commissioner stressed upon the officers of Housing Board to   expedite work on PHC Lal Bazar and also ensure completion of Teacher Bhawan and Auditorium taken up under education sector. The Housing Board was also asked to complete community halls taken up under SADP in district Srinagar without compromising quality.
