JAMMU, Dec 18: Two days training workshop on `Adverse Events Following Immunisation’ (AEFI) concluded today with senior faculty members sharing their views on post-immunisation problems.
The training workshop had been organised by the Government of India in collaboration with the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Four faculty members from the Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu attended the workshop. They included Dr Bhupesh Khajuria, Professor and Head of Department, Forensic Medicines, GMC Jammu, Dr Subhash Bhardwaj, Associate Professor, pathology, Vishal Tandon, Assistant Professor, Pharmacology and Dr B R Kundal, Neurologist, Super Specialty Hospital.
Apart from them, several senior faculty members from the GMC Srinagar and Health Department Jammu/Kashmir attended the workshop and deliberated on the issues post-immunisation.
The faculty members from the GMC Jammu had been deputed by the GMC authorities to attend the workshop.
