Workshop on ‘Cyber Security’ begins at GCW Parade

JAMMU, July 10: A 10 day summer training workshop on ‘Cyber Security’ began here today at Government College for Women, Parade.
The workshop is being organised in collaboration with Ally Wired Soft Technologies, New Delhi.
Over 70 students from different colleges of J&K, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab participated in the workshop.
In the inaugural function, Sanjeev Verma, Divisional Commissioner Jammu was the chief guest.
He emphasized upon the knowledge of cyber security in digital technology and explained how this study can be helpful for the students.
Principal Dr. Hemla Aggarwal interacted with the students and stressed upon them to take maximum benefits by attending such workshops.
Roopali Jamwal, Head of Computer Sciences Department delivered welcome address while Surojit Bose from Ally Wired Soft Technologies, the keynote speaker started the session with an interaction with students on regulation and use and misuse of information technology.
