JAMMU, Dec 7: One day training programme on Market Survey of Consumer Price Index (CPI) organised by Directorate of Economics & Statistics (DES) was held here today.
The programme was organised under the patronage of Director General, Economics & Statistics, J&K Satvir Kour Sudan.
Speaking on the occasion, Director General, Economics & Statistics emphasised on the importance of training programme and expressed his trust that the field functionaries will collect reliable coherent and quality data.
Joint Director Surveys Ashiq Hussain Bhat welcomed the participants and encouraged them to take full benefit of training so that quality data could be obtained for the preparation of CPI.
The training was imparted by Rajesh Kumar and Sunil Khar, Senior Statistical Officers, NSSO, FOD, RO, Jammu and was attended by the DSEOs of Jammu division along with their field staff and other Officers/officials of DES.
