Workshop on ‘Operational, Maintenance of Departmental Vehicles’ held at PTTI

VIJAYPUR, Dec 28: A one day workshop on “Operation & Maintenance of Departmental Vehicles” organised by the Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur, was held here today.
The workshop was organised in collaboration with Mahindra Astro India Automobiles, Bari Brahmana.
Police personnel from various units/wings of district Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Doda, Kishtwar, Srinagar, Awantipora, Pulwama and Baramulla participated in the training program.
The workshop was aimed at familiarizing the police personnel with the operational and maintenance of the vehicles.
The day long workshop was held in two sessions viz., Indoor lecture and practical demonstration.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dushyant Sharma, SSP, Principal PTTI Vijaypur, who addressed the participants, highlighting the significance of the training session.
On the occasion, the invited guests Engineer/Technician Pawan Kumar and Asgar Ali from Mahindra Astro India Automobiles Jammu shared their expertise, impart essential knowledge to the police personnel, in the first session of the workshop.
During the second session, the practical demonstration on the maintenance of vehicles was presented by the invitees in order to get the participants understandable practically with the maintenance procedures of the vehicles.
Concluding the workshop, Principal PTTI Vijaypur thanked both the engineers for sparing their valuable time for imparting lecture/demonstration to the police personnel.
