JAMMU, Feb 27: A workshop on topic ‘Moral practices in private hospitals’ was organised here today at ASCOMS, Jammu.
The workshop was organised by Susanskarit Swasthya Sewa Sanstha (SSSS).
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Deepak Kapoor convenor welcomed all dignitaries and participants in the workshop.
Swami Yagyadharanand as main speaker explained role of Sant Rama Krishna Param Hansa and Swami Vivekananda in establishing ashrams for treating poor patients which have today taken shapes of big hospitals.
Dr Gautam Mengi Prant Sangchalak stressed upon the need of inculcating moral practices in health delivery by private hospitals.
Dr Pawan Malhotra Director Principal ASCOMS presented before the audience various free camps conducted by the institution in the last year.
Workshop was attended by representatives from various private hospitals included D K Batra, Dr Vishav Gupta, Dr Harvinder Singh, Sandeep Mengi, Kulwant Singh, Bharat Bhushan and Sunil Thusoo.
