YAIKS Core Committee holds meet, dissolves team

JAMMU, Jan 2: In an extraordinary Core Committee meeting of all the executive members of Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS), held under the chairmanship of its president R K Bhat here, today the existing executive members and core group of the organization were dissolved and it was resolved to reconstitute a new body for the next term (2024-2026) shortly.
The meeting said since the organisational structure including its presidency, has been dissolved and D N Sadhu will be acting president of the organisation (YAIKS) until the formation of a new team.
It was further resolved that the proposed new team of 61 members from all the constituencies of Kashmir Valley will be nominated shortly, and they will all be given powers to elect the new president of the organization, who will further elect his new team.
During the meeting, the past struggles of the organization and its achievements and progress were discussed at length. The members present in the meeting expressed their satisfaction over the tireless efforts of the president and his team.
The meeting reiterated the ‘YAIKS vision’ of the internal community election for the larger interests of the displaced community.
