JAMMU, Feb 4: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) president, R K Bhat called by Chief Secretary, Iqbal Khanday here today to have deliberations upon the charter of demands already submitted to Ministry of Home Affairs by YAIKS.
During the meeting, after a threadbare discussion on key demands, Mr Bhat informed to Chief Secretary that the ongoing PMs employment package and remaining 3000 posts to be advertised and implemented on fast track basis with in time bound period with a procedure “one job per family” and the priority is to be given to those families first who could not be benefited under PM’s Employment Package till date, including the selection of 221 candidates who are also fighting for their right in the court of law. It was also informed that posts should be created for all the qualified job seekers including doctors and service Selection Commission posts and a special recruitment drive in Police Department.
The Chief Secretary was further informed that for over aged youth special measures to be taken to grant them one time compensation of Rs 25 lakhs each youth and the enhancement in cash relief assistance with previous effect, which has already been agreed by Union Home Secretary during YAIKS meeting with in New Delhi.
It was further demanded to Chief Secretary that the interview of teachers to be taken place immediately without further delay and those candidates who are being selected under package to be provide accommodation also as they have no place to stay there in Kashmir.
The Chief Secretary gave a patient hearing on all the raised demands and assured all measures will be taken on priority basis to rehabilitate Kashmiri migrants back to Valley. He added that Government is very serious to take back Kashmiri Pandits to their mother land.
