JAMMU, Mar 10: The deputation of Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj(YAIKS) led by its president R K Bhat called by Relief and Rehabilitation Minister, Basharat Ahmad Bukhari here today to have further deliberations upon the charter of demands already submitted to Ministry of Home Affair by YAIKS.
During the meeting, a threadbare discussion on key demands was held. Mr Bhat informed the Minister that the ongoing PM’s Employment Package and remaining 3000 posts to be advertised and implemented on fast tract basis with time bound period with a procedure “ one job per family” and priority is to be given to those families first who could not be benefited under PM’s Employment Package till date, including the selection of 221 candidates who are also fighting for their right in the court of law.
It was also informed that posts should be created for all the qualified job seekers including doctors and Service Selection Commission (SSC) posts and special recruitment drive in Police Department.
Later on, in the evening YAIKS called its core group meeting expressed gratitude to the coalition partners PDP and BJP and in particular Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Basharat Ahamad for speeding up initiatives and on spot decisions regarding the remaining 3000 posts and other long pending issues of the community.
Among other present in the delegation included Sunil Koul, Manoj Handoo, Ajay Safaya, Sanjay Ganjoo, Ajay Raina, Princy Kumari, D N Bhat and Shubanji.
