YAIKS, GKPD term Jan 19 Black Day for Pandits

JAMMU, Jan 17: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) held a Webinar today in which it’s leaders across the country and Kashmir participated in large numbers. The Webinar was held under the leadership of R.K. Bhat, president, YAIKS and North India head, Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora (GKPD).
The event started with the recitation of “Gayatri Mantra” by budding artist of community Bhoomika Raina, while a beautiful presentation about the exodus and miseries of KPs was made by Archana Sharma, volunteer of YAIKS.
R.K. Bhat in his address said it was Black Day and greatest human tragedy on 19th January 1990 when entire Kashmiri Pandit community was thrown out of their homes and hearts. This day marks the biggest human rights violations in the history.
Among other various YAIKS leaders and volunteers, Sanjay Ganjoo, Sanjeev Koul, Rakesh Fotedar, Vimal Raina, Vinod Bhat, Sanjay Raina, Ajay Pandita, Babita Bhat and Suneel Raina spoke on this occasion
The Webinar was moderated by Arvind Wali incharge IT Cell while vote of thanks was read by Jimmy Bazaz YAIKS woman activist. 08
