YAIKS to continue struggle for implementation of PM’s package

JAMMU, Nov 22: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) in an appeal has urged the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister, Raman Bhalla to take immediate steps in implementation of PM’s employment package by advertising the remaining 3000 posts out of 6000 posts announced by Dr Manmohan Singh for the displaced Pandits from Valley a long back.
The appeal was made in the convention of YAIKS here today which was held under the chairmanship of its president and member Apex Advisory Committee R K Bhat.
It also demanded allotment of  accommodations in favour of those migrant employees who are residing in rented accommodations in Kashmir Valley.
Mr Bhat said YAIKS which is spearheading the movement for cause of the displaced unemployed youth will continue struggle till all 6000 posts as announced by PM are filled and entire package is implemented in letter and spirit.
Highlighting the cause of over aged youth he demanded that they deserve preference as they were totally neglected during the turmoil period and their families were living in abject poverty.
He said how long these youth will run their families on a paltry amount of relief and the Government should take their plight into consideration. He also made and appeal to all community leaders and members to support these youth in their struggle.
The meeting also expressed concern over the rigid approach of Commissioner Secretary Revenue and alleged that his office was creating impediments in processing the cases and files are pending in his office.
Sanjay Pandita, Sandeep Bhat, Ajay Raina, Pooja Ganjoo, Sunil Bhat, Satish Raina, and Rajjo all coordinators of the YAIKS addressed the meeting.
