JAMMU, Sept 16: Yash Paul Gupta, a noted businessman of the City of Temples has been re-elected as president of the Federation of Retailers Association (FORA), Jammu province.
A general body meeting of the Federation was held here today under the chairmanship of Deep Chand Jain, a senior member of the body. It was infact, a special elections meeting in which a large number of delegates participated.
Sitting president of the Federation, Yash Paul Gupta presented a detailed report of the activities of Federation. The delegate appreciated the performance of the Federation team under Gupta. The accounts for the previous team up to March 31, 2018 were also placed before the general house. It was approved without any objection or amendment.
The full house again, suggested the name of Yash Paul Gupta for the post of president of the Federation for the next term. It was supported and applauded by all. Then Gupta declared as president by the chairman. It was decided that nomination for the other office bearers of the body will be made and announced shortly.
Gupta expressed gratitude to the members of the Federation for rendering their support and reposing faith in his leadership.
