JAMMU, Dec 12: Health and Medical Education Department has designated Dr Yashpal Sharma as Director (Co-ordinator) to oversee the co-ordination issues related to the establishment of five new Medical Colleges in the State viz Anantnag, Baramulla, Doda, Kathua and Rajouri.
He will monitor the progress of these colleges on regular basis. The salary and emoluments of Dr Yashpal Sharma will be drawn against the post of Registrar Academics in Government Medical College and Jammu.
The department also ordered transfer and postings of 21 doctors with immediate effect.
According to the order,
Dr Suresh Kumar Gupta, Incharge CMO Rajouri has been transferred and posted as Incharge Medical Superintendent District Hospital Rajouri, while Dr Mehmood Hussain, Incharge MS DH Rajouri has been transferred and will report to Directorate of Health Services Jammu for further adjustment and Dr Sunil Sharma, Incharge BMO Bani has been transferred and posted as Incharge Chief Medical Officer Rajouri.
Dr Aruna Verma, awaiting orders of adjustment has been posted as Incharge DTO Jammu, while Dr Kamini Gupta, Incharge DTO Jammu has been transferred and posted as Incharge Deputy Chief Medical Officer Samba and Dr Jyoti Gupta posted at UHC Shastri Nagar Jammu will look-after the charge of the ZLO Jammu.
Dr Chanderlekha Gupta, Incharge ZLO Jammu has been transferred and posted as Incharge DIO Samba, while Dr Savita Wazir, awaiting orders of adjustment has been posted as Incharge DHO Kathua and Dr Sanjay Turki, awaiting orders of adjustment will look after the charge of State Tuberculosis Officer till further orders.
Dr Mukhtar Ahmad Shah, Incharge DIO Pulwama has been transferred and posted as Incharge CMO Anantnag, while Dr Nishat Shaheen, Incharge Controller Stores Health Services Jammu has been transferred and posted as Incharge Assistant Director, Health Services Kashmir and Dr Syed Manzoor Qadri, Incharge AD HS Kashmir has been transferred and posted as Incharge Controller Stores Health Services Kashmir.
Dr Fazal Ali Kochak, Incharge CMO Anantnag has been transferred and posted as Incharge CMO Kulgam, while Dr Mehrajudin Sofi, Incharge Deputy CMO Ganderbal has been transferred and posted as Incharge MS DH Ganderbal and Dr Shabina Gulshan, Incharge Deputy MS DH Budgam has been transferred and posted as Incharge BMO Khansahib.
Dr Arshid Tak, Incharge DIO Anantnag has been transferred and posted as Incharge BMO Achhabal, while Dr GM Ahanger, MO JLNM Hospital has been transferred and posted as Incharge BMO Wakura Ganderbal and Dr Shakeel Majid, MO DTC Anantnag has been transferred and posted as Incharge BMO Saller.
Dr Arjumand Bashir, MO Block Chattergam has been transferred and posted as Incharge DIO Anantnag, while Dr Nighat Yasmeen, MO PHC Zadibal has been transferred and posted as Incharge Deputy CMO Ganderbal and Dr Farooq Qureshi has been transferred from SDH Kupwara and posted as MO in Block Tanghdar and will also hold the charge of BMO Tanghdar in addition to his own duties.
